Their unmarried parents were Elizabeth Daly and Dawson Richard Coote. Dawson died 1850 and the twins emigrated to New Zealand in the 1860s, where Elizabeth married Irvin Hurst of Whitehaven and Emily married James Sidey of Dundee. Dawson’s family is well documented but I haven’t been able to find any family details for Elizabeth Daly. Is she part of your family? |
