A E Flint swampi@clear.net.nz NEW ZEALAND I am trying to trace information on Norman Ide or his sister Jean. Their parents were Sydney, a policeman, and Cis. In the late 1940s or early 1950s the Ide family were living at, I think, 235 Hampton Court Road, Twickenham, Middlesex. I think Norman may have married a Peggy Seaforth. Cis Ide was a cousin of my mother, Edith Flint (nee Cotton) from Suffolk. I would dearly love to find out more about the family connection.
Warren Ide ideout@tpg.com.au AUSTRALIA I am seeking information about my great-grandfather, Thomas Ide. He was born c1843 in RI/MASS, USA, and according to his marriage record his father was John Ide and his mother was Martha Doyle. I do not have his birth record or his parents’ marriage record. The earliest record I have of him is on the 1850 US census as a seven-year-old, in the household of Marcellus Ide (obviously a relative). Would any descendant of Marcellus have any info regarding this Thomas?
